Matzinger Davies Grenache comes from Garnier Vineyard just east of the town of Mosier, Oregon on the banks of the mighty Columbia River in the Columbia Gorge AVA. Wrought by the work of this region’s dramatic geologic history, the soil here is a shallow sandy loam with basalt protrusions and produces lively, energetic wines that are as distinctive and dramatic as the environs.
